While the early May sun was high in the sky with the steady breeze Mykonos is known for washed over the tourists, the water was remarkably frigid! Despite Dakota’s pleas to stay on the boat to nurse his sunburn, Lisa adamantly argued that they could not come all the way to Greece not to swim in the Aegean Sea. With a countdown from the other passengers and the captain dutifully filming, they took the plunge!

Exhausted, fulfilled, and finally done backpacking around the world, the best friends got some shut eye as their friendship rekindled and adventure abroad began.

The following day, the two travelers found themselves on a train to Salem! They traveled through beautiful countryside peppered with marshes until they followed the hoards out of the train and into the main square. The best way to describe Salem in October is a theme park with no entrance fee.
